Junior Financial Analyst - Sales and Operations

The purpose of this role is to work as an effective member of the Sales and Operations Network Support Team to accurately report, analyse and review inventory planning and optimisation to deliver effective inventory & product management optimisation for all New Zealand locations. In addition, provide support for overall pricing management including supporting the upload of new pricing levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis and commentary on key performance indicators for retail and trade operations.
• Provide support for overall pricing management including the upload of new pricing levels.
• Assist with building reporting from within the organisations data sources to create dashboards and support greater business insights.
• Analyse data and information to identify inventory counts, discrepancies and other relevant indicators.
• Create and maintain monthly reporting of key metrics as specified
• Keep updated on industry and market trends
• Ad hoc financial and commercial analysis.

The ideal candidate will ideally have 1-2 years experience in a commercial, analytical role and be looking to grow their knowledge and career.

You will have sound forecasting/modeling skills, and experience in tracking operational performance. You will need to have a strong analytical background with immaculate attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required as is experience utilising data warehousing tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required as is the ability to work across all levels within the organisation.
